Decorative Bowl - Decorative Ceramic Bowl - Dip Bowl - Centerpiece - Blue Bowl - Ceramic serving bowl - accent piece - Tabletop decor

$75.00

This blue decorative ceramic bowl will make a striking accent piece as part of your tabletop decor. It can hold some fruit as well as an ikebana arrangement. It can also hold your keys or your random treasures. It can even be used a serving bowl for dips or even mashed potatoes.

This centerpiece bowl is 3.5 inches tall and 7.25 inches in total diameter. The inside bowl is 3.25 inches deep and 5 inches in diameter.

I threw this bowl upside down on the potter's wheel and hand carved the design of leaves on the side walls. The same leaves are featured in relief on the bowl's wide rim. I fired it twice in an electric kiln in my Virginia studio. The glaze is a great complement to any decor. It is lead-free and food safe. While the piece is dishwasher safe, I recommend handwashing.

Made in Virginia.

Frequently Asked Questions

Custom and personalized orders

I will gladly make a custom order for you. Custom orders usually take 3 to 4 weeks. Depending on the time of year and where I am in the production cycle, orders may take up to 6 to 8 weeks. Personalized items that are not generic (e.g., Dad, Mama) require a 50 percent deposit. Payment for other custom orders is due at purchase.

Care instructions

If properly cared for stoneware can be enjoyed for a long time. Never place a dish on top of a burner or in a preheated (hot) oven. Instead, place room temperature dishes in a cold oven and gradually bring the heat up to the desired temperature. Dishes should be filled so food contacts all interior surfaces.

Teapots should be warmed with hot water before filling them with boiling water. The same is true for colanders: never pour boiling water directly into them.

Stoneware is microwave and dishwasher safe. However, please use care. Some items, such as berry bowls, might best be hand washed.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Because of the fragile nature of ceramics, I pack the items in several layers of bubble wrap before placing them in a box surrounded by biodegradable peanuts. In some cases, it is best to ship multiple items is separate boxes to prevent breakage.

I do not offer gift wrapping, but I can include a message to the gift recipient. The message will be printed in a script font in an appropriate blank card or the back of a Glynt Pottery postcard. Please let me know (in the message from buyer) if you are interested including a message with your gift.
